Microsoft wants to sell to a report in the online newspaper "The Daily" his office suite Office for Apple's iPad Tablet. Initially should not all Office file formats are supported. But before it does that, Microsoft needs to take the hurdles of approval by Apple.
How can the office software on Windows with Word, Excel- and PowerPoint files can be created on the iPad and read. What formats are supported by other software, is open. Microsoft relies on its user interface Metro, a design of Windows 8 and Windows Phone.
Apple has offered since the launch of the Tablet PC in spring 2010 with software for this purpose. There are also other providers of products suitable for the purpose, so that the customer has the choice.
